Lean principles promote the ability for an organization to produce and deliver the highest quality products and services at the lowest possible cost. A Lean environment at work eliminates waste and its drivers. There is a set of steps, approaches, tools and techniques to follow for the most efficient work systems that meet customer requirements. This two day overview of Lean is focused on operations and manufacturing. The principles can be applied to service and other industries. Penn State provides this training in partnership with Oriel STAT A MATRIX. Cost is 5. per person (discounts may apply) and includes program materials & assessments.
